At Lisbon Design Week 2026 MOR Design opened the doors of its Lisbon showroom for "A Sketch from Scratch", an exhibition presented as part of the city's design event. Dedicated to the work of British designer Daniel Schofield, the exhibition offered a closer look at the process behind two pieces created for MOR: the ALLAY Lounge Chair and the MIGO Side Table.
Rather than focusing only on the final object, A Sketch from Scratch revealed what usually remains unseen: early sketches, references, decisions, proportions and material details. It was a invitation to understand design as a process, where every line, adjustment and choice shapes the way a piece lives in a space.
The exhibition reflected a central part of MOR brand’s identity: furniture with clarity, intention and a strong relationship between designer, material and maker. During Lisbon Design Week, the showroom became a place to see not only what design is, but how it begins.
