Nuno Sottomayor

Nuno Sottomayor (b. 1972) is an architect from Porto whose work moves fluidly between architecture, interiors and object design. After studying at FAUP and expanding his outlook in Lund, Sweden, he developed a practice rooted in proportion, material clarity and precise detailing. Early collaborations in stainless-steel objects and lighting, along with award-winning projects, helped shape his design sensibility. Over the years, he has worked with renowned studios and on national heritage projects. Nuno’s approach reflects a quiet, rigorous understanding of space, revealing the essential potential in every project.
