Álvaro Siza Vieira and Kengo Kuma - Architecture Friendship

The architect behind the renovation of the Centro de Arte Moderna selected Álvaro Siza's studio to showcase prototypes of his new aiTai pieces, commercialized by Mor Design.

The Portuguese architect welcomed Kuma and had him sit in his Alcântara chair, designed for MOR in 2020. Kuma remarked, "I find it very welcoming, just like its creator.".

The exchange of ideas and appreciation for each other's designs highlighted the mutual respect and admiration between these two iconic figures. Their discussion delved into the philosophy of design, the importance of cultural influences, and the future of sustainable materials, leaving everyone inspired by their insights.

Two great names that we are proud to have in MOR’s team.
