Designed by

John Pawson

John Pawson is a British architect known for a minimalist language that centres on light, proportion, and visual stillness. His work spans from monasteries and private homes to museums and furniture, always guided by a pursuit of clarity. In product design, he brings the same formal rigour and material sensitivity, crafting objects that express the quiet power of simplicity. Photo @orla connolly

Pure stainless steel

The Arco Tray, designed by John Pawson for MOR, is a study in absolute geometric precision. Crafted in stainless steel, the piece takes the form of a circle elegantly circumscribed by two arcs. Architectural in nature, the tray is defined by a balance between weight and void: a pair of slender vertical gaps between the arcs and a rhythmic sequence of horizontal cut-outs between the semicircles and the base.

It speaks to Pawson’s signature

This minimalist tray is deliberately not sculptural. Its distinct sense of presence arises from its stillness—anchored and quiet, yet purposeful. It speaks to Pawson’s signature language of reduction and harmony, making it more than a utilitarian object. It is a refined statement for modern interiors and discerning collectors of contemporary home decor.

Whether placed on a dining table, console, or sideboard, the Arco Tray brings clarity, order, and architectural intent to any space.
